As well as my Grundy Flint River I own several top quality five string resonator banjos including Stelling, Ome, Prucha and a couple of Gibsons. I can tell you with confidence that my "Grundy" is the best sounding banjo I own. It is a custom built instrument with my inlay choice being the Flying Eagle style. Laurie bends over backwards to give you exactly what you want. If a person was to try one of Laurie's banjos they would immediately see what I mean. Not only does it have it's own unique sound, it also has great playability and the workmanship is outstanding.
